Dipl.-Ing. Heinz Plöchinger, General Manager

Mr Plöchinger studied electronic engineering in Munich. He gained industry experience working first as a development engineer for a component manufacturer and later as an application engineer at a company focusing on measurement and control technology. In 1970 he founded his own company Thyracont. Mr Plöchinger has been managing partner since the GmbH was established. As a freelance inventor, he holds numerous industrial property rights in the field of vacuum measurement technology and sensor technology.

Dipl.-Phys. Frank P. Salzberger, General Manager

Mr Frank P. Salzberger studied physics at the LMU Munich. Initially working in the development department of a sensor specialist for automotive engineering, he moved to Thyracont in 1996. As a developer, project manager and later as technical manager, he acquired extensive specialist knowledge in vacuum measurement technology. His in-depth knowledge of the market is the result of many years of experience in key accounts and customer support.
