Maintenance and Repair
Beside technical advice to optimally protect your vacuum gauges in difficult environment, on request we calibrate and repair your instruments directly at Thyracont.
If a quick replacement is required, we offer exchange gauges for most of our products. Also a lot of our vacuum gauges have a modular design, so e. g. an exchange of a sensor can be done easily by qualified professionals locally.
Thyracont means quality. So the warranty period you and your customers receive for new Thyracont products is 24 months and thus much more than the legal standard of 12 months.
If you want us to calibrate your vacuum gauge, you can choose between a works calibration (check of 4 reference points per pressure decade, traceable to national DAkkS stardards) or a DAkkS calibration.
If your instruments need to be recalibrated or repaired, please send them with a filled-in and signed declaration of contamination to:

Your instruments will be checked and you will receive an estimate of cost as soon as possible. The calibration or repair will be done, as soon as we receive your approval.
If a gauge can not be repaired, a fee for checking of 30.60 EUR will be charged. On request the gauge will be scrapped free of charge. The fee for checking will not be charged if a new instrument is ordered.
